Become a Mercy Care Volunteer
Mercy Care Volunteers provide their gifts of companionship and friendship to elders living in their community. Joining us places you among 100 generous and kind people carrying out errands of mercy to help their elder neighbors age in place more successfully.
After being matched with elders of similar interests, our Friendship Volunteers meet with their companions on their time and schedule.
Training, tools, and in-service programs and events are provided to volunteers throughout each year.
Mercy Care welcomes volunteers of all faiths or no faith.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Mercy Care Friendship Volunteer, fill out the form or contact Lexi Bevilacqua at abevilacqua@adkmercy.org or 518-523-5446.
The next Friendship Volunteer training will be held on January 15th at the Tupper Lake Emergency Services Building, 21 Santa Clara Ave., Tupper Lake.
