Technology Assistance Basic Level Workshop
Saranac Lake — On August 14, 2024 Mercy Care for the Adirondacks hosted a full class for their Technology Assistance Workshop at BOCES in Saranac Lake. Programming was led by Mercy Care Friendship Volunteer Scott Baerman. Volunteers and Elders, as well as other friends of the community, learned basic technology skills using iPads, tablets, cell phones, and laptops.
Build and Learn Terrarium Workshop
/in Mercy Care EventsOn September 12, 2024 Mercy Care for the Adirondacks Volunteers and Elder Friends, the Lake Placid Garden Club, and members of the community joined together at the SL Hot House located at 50 Bay Blvd for a Build and Learn Terrarium Workshop. All attending created and learned how to care for Terrariums under the guidance of knowledgeable Hot House Staff.
